Energy Star is a joint program of the US Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency, to promote the use of energy-efficient appliances in the home and in business. Appliances which receive the Energy Star rating have been tested to offer the most energy efficient service available today, saving you up to 33% on the energy cost associated with operating your appliance. Look for the blue Energy Star logo on your appliance to know you’ll be getting the most power out of your energy dollar.

As an Energy Star Partner, Hoffman’s offers the full range of Energy Star appliances that our manufacturers produce.

The Energy Star rating system covers refrigerators and freezers, dishwasher and laundry washing machines, air conditioners and dehumidifiers. (Energy Star does not apply to any range, cooktop, oven, dryer, or any other household heating or cooking appliance.) It also covers several other household items which are not carried by Hoffman’s Appliance.
